Le 05 mai 2020 à 14h00 en visioconférence, Matěj Stehlik nous parlera de : Combinatorial aspects of fullerenes and quadrangulations of surfaces

Résumé : In the first part of the talk, I will discuss some applications of graph theory to the study of fullerene molecules. In the second part, I will discuss how quadrangulations are related to Kneser graphs, and how they helped disprove two widely-believed conjectures in commutative algebra.
